CF is strong, but brittle. and expensive.

1 hit and half the car could shatter to pieces. Where metal bends, and can absorb more impact.

That is the big myth about CF, strong is not always the BEST. Sure pure race car, where you have a safety cage, and want things stiff for handling, can have benefits. But I highly doubt "MOM" would want a stiff riding race car to haul the kids to soccer practice. Race car ride and street car ride, have big differences.
