yes they are rubber. and both kits are for long bed full side. you would just have some bolts and nuts left.but the 1/2 ton is for steel not wood. the 3/4 ton is for wood bed.TOM I'LL TRY TO GET TO POST OFFICE TOMORROW ON THE POSTAGE
