Pretty much what I did, but a little more involved then that. The stock arm changes anlges in 3 directions in relation to the cross shaft line, so i had to cut out the center of the arm(like in the picture), traced a strait line behind the ball joint plate, and transfered it down the side of the arm. I cut the arm using a plasma cutter, placed it in the vice, bent it and cut some more. I did this until I got them to the angle I wanted, and welded them back together.
