having a larger radiator generally requires less airflow through it to achieve the same cooling effect, so that's why I mentioned it as an alternative to the e-fan stuff. Direct-drive fan shouldn't make all that much of a difference, as the clutch locks up under high temperature and effectively becomes a direct-drive hub. You can keep the stock fan tho, just fab-up a solid-face hub to bolt to it, then use the correct length aluminum spacer to bolt the whole thing to yer water pump - however, expect a slightly decreased fuel economy when not using the plow and just running around with the grille wide open to airflow.
