Thanks for the quick reply, no air-con so no problems in that respect but I may not have the original speaker fitted, I haven't checked. I've plenty of metal so I guess I'll just fab some brackets up. My wifes away next week at a conference in Barcelona, Spain so unlimited tinkering time!
