2wd or 4x4? 1/2-3/4-1 ton? Pulling or daily driver? A 700R4 will work for most applications, if you are pulling and have some money to spend on it a 4L80E with a standalone controller would be awesome. If its 2wd, you can also add a Gear Vendors unit to your Th350, they run around $2k and you would need a shortened driveshaft.
How much do you want to spend, what it is, and what will you be doing with it are the deciding factors.
