Secondly.... be sure to check out the
Midwest All Truck Nats, in Riverside, MO, coming up next September, it is a great show.
Thirdly, as far as dropping your truck, I would turn toward
ECE (Early Classic Enterprises). They put together one great kit, for a decent price. Call out and talk with anyone of the guys and they will be sure to hook you up. ECE offers a great static drop kit (spindles/springs), along with stance photos of different drops on the same vehicle, so be sure to check that out. ECE also offers many other parts geared towards the 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks. In my future plans, I'm going to pickup the 4/6 drop kit that they offer.
If you are wanting to go a little lower, then look no farther than
Air Ride Technologies. They have a complete front and rear kit available for our model of trucks.
