Another thing,the 700R4 is longer than the stock tranny so if you have a 4wd you will need to locate the motor farther forward or move the t-case back resulting in needing new driveshafts or having the old ones lengthened/shortened.I'll just keep my good ol' carb'd small block chevy has used for decades and not have to do these mods,but that's just me.
