I will never own another oil-less POS. If yours is like the one I had, the motor has a special shaft installed in it so you can't just throw a run of the mill motor at it.

I actually dug an old craftsman compressor out of a dump so I would have a seperate motor and a seperate cylinder. The tank was rusted out and all of the fittings were worn out but I had enough stuff laying around that I was able to get the old boy running, and the best part is I can turn it on and carry on a conversation standing right next to it.
