This thread could easily be turned into an which is cooler thread, old school muffs or new school crazy loud straights.
Being from the older group I like the sound of the 60's Hemi mufflers, Chevelle mufflers, Corvette mufflers. With the right tailpipe length and diameter they idled and cruised with just a small increase in sound over most stockers but really TALKED when you stomped the go pedal. For years I ran dual hemi muffs behind my 350 Olds with short dumps and loved it. Ya, it TALKED.
Times change and what we knew was cool the younger generation don't. They have decided louder is better so then came all those long big diameter tubes hangin under the rear of them. I call them goober tubes for no better words. JMO, louder isn't always better.
