hah, i'm one of those assholes with straight pipes on my Z71. Yes I am a redneck, and yeah it's got the cats on it still. Only reason that is is because i don't know if it will affect the computer (set codes off) if I hack the cats off. And yes, my 72 does have pipes, with some old school sounding loud glasspacks. Every truck I've owned has been a V8 and has had pipes (or a lack of, in the case of my barely-piped-headers effin loud 69 C-10)
Call me stupid for having straights on my Z71, or whatever you want. Personally, I don't like stock or quiet exhaust on my trucks. I like pipes, and I like noise, bout as much as I like power.
