Just some additional pre-purchase information for you...
I have known Stan and the crew for quite some time....they did my exhaust on my 71 502 powered Cheyenne and my 66 Chevelle. They do great work right here in Seattle and would recommend them to anyone. Their headers are top notch, laser cut flanges, 14 gauge steel (and stainless on request) and superb workmanship. Stan has been doing this since the late fifties and has a good history with Thorley since then.
I also own FocuzTech Performance (the site you found Stan's headers on). We sell alot of his headers and do so in part to the quality product he puts forth. I have worked closely with him over the past several years, both in selling his product, and developing a few new products as well. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding these headers (and would rather see you get them from us too!).
Finally, the Tri-Y design will make a very noticeable, seat of the pants difference on a stock to mild motor that sees the south side of 6-6500rpm. I have Tri-Y's on one of my cars and can vouch for the difference.
LMK if I can be of more assistance.
