You should have a feed line and a return line. I can't tell from that picture, but you might have a third on that one (which would be for the evap system).

All the evap system does is control the vapors from the evaporating fuel in the tank.

What year is the engine out of and vehicle? Does the fuel rail have 2 lines coming out or just 1?

Edit: Actually reading that first one, it says its a vent. So it would just go up to the filler neck and enter there so the gas would flow in nicely.
