BadGMC, that is one sweet set-up! I am starting the research of piecing parts together.
I am planning on using the shorty headers I have and swapping side to side and mount upside down, with flanges welded on once turbos are selected. Or a pair of turbo headers is usually on ebay for 150 or so.
I found this article about what mods need to be done to a double pumper carb to prepare it for a blow through set-up.
http://www.hangar18fabrication.com/blowthru.html
After reading it, i'm not sure how a carb with vacuum secondaries would react to boost.
I have an 87 Shelby Daytona with a 2.2 turbo/intercoled I run at about 18psi WOT without leaning out.
Crazy what a turbo can do to an otherwise sluggish motor.
I would like to either piece together a system for my 85, or if I get unbelievably lucky, a 4.3 from a syclone/typhoon
thanks to everyone for the info!
