i always just look down the carb and hit the gas, watch for the squirt of gas shooting into the carb. if its not there you know the bowl is dry.

i have seen this many many times. its always the filter. take that pile of crap thing out of the front of the carb and put a good clear inlike typ. just put it back together with out that little filter. dam thing always causes trouble
