The trun signal plug is nothing to worry about. If the switch was swapped out chances are it would now have teh flat plug instead of the curved. That wouldn't mean it isn't truck tilt.
The real key will be the amount of steering shaft coming out the end. A factory will have roughly 1.5" and a van tilt will have roughly 5". Those are guesstimates from the top of my head so I could be a bit off, but should be close.
There were some motorhomes that got a hybrid. It will have the short shaft, but the nuetral safety switch will be in the low position like the vans. That is a pretty easy fix though.
