Have you been talking to the counter guys at 4WP ? They told me the same thing! 6" Tuff Country and Skyjacker were fairly close to each other in spring rate. If you don't want to shell out big $$ to get some made, you may want to look at the 4" Tuff Country's (Offroad Design) with some Offroad Design Zero rates. That'll net you 5" of lift with a decent ride. The 4" Tuff Country's by far had the softest spring rate of the off the shelf springs when I was researching.

All of that being said, my full set of Alcans was about $950 shipped. Pretty dang close to the price of Skyjackers from 4WP and custom made based on how you drive and what you drive to boot!
