My 67 3/4 ton had a 4" lift when i bought it with stock non power steering , the steering arm hit my tire when making a turn, 33or 35" tires, I installed a disc brake front axle and added power steering....BIG DIFFERANCE!! way better.
To answer your question the stock steering still worked with the 4" lift, but watch your tire size
