No.

The 6.5 Diesel was designed by Detroit Diesel as an extension of the 6.2. It was built by GM.

The newest 6.5 diesel engine blocks are being cast in the same foundry that is casting International engines including the Ford Powerstroke. The only vehicles that get these newly cast 6.5 engines are Hummers made for the military by AM General. If you go buy a 6.5 crate, you will get one of these blocks but the new castings didn't come factory in any GM trucks.
