
...That's me showing my frustration! I know a lot about electricity in general and a whole lot about electricity in BMWs but unfortunatly, I know less about how Chevy used to do things (less practice). I did not know that they changed the resistance on the ground side (Thanks Longhorn Man, I'm sure that info will come in handy some day!). The theory is the same though, you should have a 12 volt drop across the motor on high speed. Just put your red lead on the power side and the black lead on the ground side and you should see 12 volts. If ya don't, move your black lead to the neg. post of the battery and see if you have 12 volts then. If ya do then you have too much resistance somewhere on the ground side (switch?). If you still don't have 12 volts, then you have too much resistance on the power side. Let us know what you find and if you need more help.
