Re: causes of bad MPG

Mine started getting crappy mileage and I checked the vacuum advance by sucking on the line to it and discovered ther diaphram was broken.Then when I looked in the distrib I found that the centrifical weights were all stuck too.
I replaced the whole distrib with a new HEI type and it runs great but and am SURE the mileage prob.is fixed.
