you'll also have to deal with the frame difference if you go with a newer PS box. 67-68 frames were flat behind the box and 69 and up frames had a "dimple". You can search this board for some fixes that guys have done. I plan on making a bracket to hold it... Not a simple bolt on though...

I suggest finding a newer axle to gain disc brakes, raised steering arm and get it done all at once. Just be sure to match the gear ratios. The axle is a bolt in fix but then you have to deal with the master cylinder issue... This is how one fix creates multiple fixes and sooner or later your truck is in 5,000 pieces!
