Re: 72 blazer steering arm 8" lift?
cross over steering is the only way to go and dosnt cost that much more to do if you have the origanl 72 axle in the blazer.
you will need the passenger side steering arm a 2wd steering box, a ford, jeep or manual pitman arm, and a new tirod to go from the passenger steering arm to the pitman arm.
you will then need to have the passenger side knuckle drilled to match the driver side so that you can put the steering arm on the passenger knuckle. you should be able to find some place local to do it but if not there is a guy in TN that sells the arms for a good price around 50 and if you send him the knuckle he will drill it out and put the arm on for you.
thats the hardest part after you get the drilled knuckle with the new steering arm just put the axle back togehter. Change you steering box to the 2wd box and hook up the new pitman arm and tirod.
