I prefer factory as well. It would be interesting to install newer gauges behind the oil pressure, water temp and batt gauges on my original dash, but noone makes square or rectangular aftermarket gauges.

On my other car, a 71 Buick Riviera, it is all idiot lights so I installed amber Cyberdynes on the bottom of the dash. They are just as easy to hook up as an electrical gauge. I also like them because you can set them to flash at a certain temp or pressure. That way you have both an idiot light and an accurate gauge in one.
