I am doing mine right now with all new glass from LMC and most people say the new "units" dont fit real well but let me tell you the rebuild kits are not that great ether. Next time I might try the UNIT way and see how that is. Also I ordered new vent glass and door glass only to find they only make LH side's and sell them as sets. All this means is the Safty glass etching is on the inside on the LH and on the out side of the glass on the RH side. I called LMC to complain that they sent me 2 LH glasses and they said nope! that is what you get period!!! I was pissed with their customer service and the way I was treated will never order thru them agian.

Sorry off rant, since I was replacing mine with new glass I just set it over a trash can and beat the glass until it broke (not and easy task with out my spring loaded center punch) then cleaned out the rubber and the chanel and started over again. I have been told to use clean motor oil for setting the new glass into the rubber.
