I have an Edelbrock auto choke. There is no adjustment to make it act quicker. But you can adjust how much it closes by loosening the three screws and rotating the assembly. With the engine off and cold, remove your air cleaner and watch the choke flapper as you rotate.

If it doesn't seem to be acting quickly enough, check your electrical connections, you may not be getting the full 12 volts.
