Check the wiring gutter that runs along the top of the firewall in the engine compartment. It's a common area for rust because of debris that gets caught in the 'channel' holds moisture.
If that looks good, verify that the windsheild seals are sealing properly. Use a flashlight inside the cab under the dash & look while someone sprays all around the cab area.
Another common area for rust is the vent doors in the kick-panels.
