If your still running the stock body mounts, a set of poly mounts will lower it a small amount too.
I bet the max drop allowable will be determined by the drive train, mainly the front axle clearance.
Doing an axle over swap would net you 3/4 inches right off if there's room to do it.
Then you could go with 2wd shocks.
