I'm going to send the white one to college with her and then restore it when she's done. The red one was her High School ride. She's more conservative than me and definitely more responsible. She's been driving since she was 8 hauling trailer loads of horses and cattle on the ranch and understands following/braking distance. She's 18 and 3 years away from her Masters in mechanical engineering with speacialization in explosives so she knows the physics end of it too. Last time she rode in the white Blazer she was riding in a baby seat. I'm proud of her, as I am my other 2 daughters, but I wouldn't want either of them driving that red one. They are more the type to see how effective the rollbar is.
I also thought that I had seen threads that indicated that significant reinforcement to seat mounting was necessary if seats with integral belts were used. Is that the consensus? Also, I was trying to stay with orignal seats in the white one.
