i find the best thing is to yank the plug with some plyers. the connector doesnt want to come loose very easy. so just wiggle and yank. i have yet to do it by hand, always have used the plyer.

once wired you need to check to see if you have it wired right. just hit the button, if it doesnt work, swap the wires in the plug.

thats all there is to it. works a hell of alot better than the orginal one. they make a rebuild kit, but after a few years the dam thing stops working..

to me, i do this to every truck. HEI and a universal pump.every truck needs one!
