It wasn't the same tire. On my GTI, I managed to pick up some 18" Z-rated Kuhmo Ecsta's that normally retal at around $160 average, and they sold @ $109. I shopped online for three days before I blew out a tire and had no choice but to go local or drive around on a donut for a week. So I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised.
It's really unrelated to the original poster's request. Was just sharing my experience.
