I've had a couple of DT guys offer suggestions & even considered going up the corporate ladder for resolution.
The bottom line is I needed the tire repaired & they wouldn't repair it because a) the tire was near the end of its service life (tread bars clearly visible), & b) the tire had 2 holes within .750" of each other so they said the holes could not be plugged properly that close together.
I explained that yes there were 2-holes in close proximity (a staple had punctured the tire), but only one of the holes actually breached the inside surface of the tire & was leaking. They still refused to fix it because the tire was 'worn-out'. So I asked them to dismount the tire since
I paid for the lifetime mount/balance deal when I bought them new @ DT. They wouldn't dismount the tire for free because he said they would not repair the tire.
I paid the fee taking my tire & business elsewhere. That repair job I did (tire patch the size of a quarter) has lasted 1yr now & that 'worn-out' tire is still on the truck doing it's job.

Corporate bulk purchasing does have benefits. FWIW, the local shop I've been using since (4x BFG KDW's 275-40/17's) had the same price as DT & they're a nickel & dime establishment.
