Check the axles and be sure if it is, or isn't a positrac before changing! All it takes is 1 bad change to cause you all sorts of problems! I think the transfer case in it takes transmission fluid. Far as engine oil you will get as many answers as there are people on this board. Personally I use Delvac 15/40 with a 2 qt Wix filter. add 2 oz per qt of Energy Release, and 1 can of stp. The only exception to this rule is if the engine has run pensoil! If so Don't use Delvac oil in it! It will clean the engine up too good and you won't be able to keep oil in it!
