If it is a positraction DO NOT put energy release in! It will do the same thing as putting 90 wt in it. I use the energy release in engine oil, and power steering oil. The only problem with energy release (if you can call it a problem) is I can't tell you what it does inside an engine. I have never had an engine apart I put energy release in. I just drove my Wifes 90 burb to get gas (OUCH $103) 435000 miles on it, 30 lbs oil pressure hot at idle, and the engine has never been opened.
