Hello Kim,

I removed mine for cleaning and I'm going to use some small stainless steel flat Allen wrench bolts to replace the rivets. You could also weld it and place.

I done that on my brothers old truck. The way I did it on my brothers truck was to take a screw (that fits tight in the hole) feed it through from the inside, cut off the excess and weld it on the outside and grind it flush. I like it
