I tried the colored bulbs in my 83 Peterbilt, they looked great for awhile, but faded badly. I ended up using some rubber boots made for covering lights (available at most truck stops from Barjan). The colored bulbs will last longer in a pickup or car because the lights arent on from sundown to sunup like they were in my Pete.
