I will definately check out the swivel t-stat housings and see if that will alleviate the hose to alternator pulley clearance issues. IIRC they later model Chevy trucks have the upper hose routed in front of the alternator and above the fan. I'm just not sure what years' this was on.

Anything after 88 should be what you need. Most likely 90-92.
