Park it on a street in East LA for a couple of hours...LOL! I'm just being a smart a$$! Disconnect the steering, parking brake, ground strap and front clip while you are at it. The front clip will come off with about 8 bolts and will make pulling the cab much easier.

Are you just replacing a badly rusted cab or do you have other plans? The major rust areas can be repaired without removing the cab. If you have major firewall/cowl rust or drip rail rust along with the standard rockers, corners and kick panels then it is best to just replace the cab...but I am sure you already know that. Have fun!

Remove the tank, seat and doors before lifting it off since it will make it much lighter.
