I have seen a number of older than that trucks that were "cowl" panels, but never seen one as new as 68. In fact, there is a couple of 48-50 cowl trucks around where i live in Maine, in various shape. Some baked, some on the road. Most on the road trucks have been made into "hippie" campers, as we call them.
