Well...the truck is in it's new resting place. My focus is my 69' short/step at the moment, but I have a question on this. A local engine shop has a 292 there that they were just going to get rid of, but I told them I wanted it. I'm going to put that engine in my 69 and pull the engine & transmission out that are in there now and put them in this one. I know some of these medium duty trucks had 292's in them, but what about the trans? I know it's a 4-speed with a granny gear. I don't know what kind specifically though. I would like to put a 5-speed in my 69 so it's a little better on the highway.
