I just got an 81 GMC short wide with a 250 inliner. Mine runs pretty well. I'm broke too, and I'd like to get to know more about this motor too and focus what meager funds I do have to other areas like rocker rust and and a simple bolt-on drop. I'm also new to the full size scene, so is there anything you guys could tell me more about my truck? Is there an internet source to decode my VIN? Any help would be cool.
