Finally got my truck complete enough to drive around. It only took two years. There were some days that it was not worth it but in the end, it is so worth the wait.
Here it is when I bought it. It is replacing the 61 long bed I wrecked
A month later this happened while it was sitting in front of the house
SO lets start putting it back together. Got most of a bed from a guy online. Went to PnP and bought the rear axle housing and shafts and tailgate from the 61 I wrecked
Had the trailing arms and springs sitting around from a 62 long bed I cut up
Did some rust repair. Rockers, Inner rockers, cab supports, the bottoms of all pillars, bottoms of the doors, floor pans
Got some disk brakes, drop spindles, and 4" rear springs
