rusted chevy, he has a full floater axle, so studs are not in the shaft.
Pull your axleshafts, remove the hubs, and have a local machine shop drill them for an interference fit for 9/16 studs you buy at the parts store. You can hammer the old studs out, but take at least one so the shop can measure the amount of interference before drilling the new holes. Obviously they should have the new ones as well... Another option is getting the hubs off of a 71-72 truck and swapping those on to your truck.
