If you're lookin for performance,and your budget can afford it ,World Products Sportsman II heads are hard to beat for the money.Roughly $800 for a pair.Brand newcastings,stainless valves,hardened seats,thicker deck surface,and they flow better than any chevy head,right out of the box.When you get into re-building stock heads,for a few dollars more you can have brand new.Just my .02 worth.
