I read in in a book that 882 heads are not good for HI-Performance. It has double heat passage at the center exhaust passage, prone to to heat crack around exhaust valve seats, stock maybe, if you use them have check out, 993 are good heads, they are open chamber heads you may some them around i have 2 sets, 1 set came off of 74 Monte Carlo 4 bolt main, the other set came off of 76 2 bolt main, they are on most target master motor,if looking for a good set of heads Jegs has heads for HP, hope you find some thing out there, just look & ask, some body should have a set but have them check by good machine shop,
