It is worth every Penny that you have invested...............
Hey thanks Rick!

My budget on this truck isn't really a fair one, or at least compared to others here in the build section. The truck was given to me in exchange for a paint job and I have written most of the truck off to advertising, one of the benefits of owning a shop. I suppose though the truck "advertising" did come out of my pocket as the more the shop spends the less I make.

My paint was donated to me from my paint supplier so that cost was a wash as well. ($1000-$1200) I would suppose though I spent around $3000-$3500 for everything you see. (Interior, engine work, transmission, power steering, etc...)

I did up an estimate for my insurance company and based on the hours I have spent and the costs involved I think it will level at about 10-12 grand. That of course does not include the "cost" of the truck. I would say that your average person would have about 15 grand in a project like this if he found a good shop that was willing to take it on. That being said, I really doubt I could sell it for that. I might be able to get about $12-$14K for it, if I was lucky. If I were to have replace the fenders, doors... etc with new sheet metal, it might be worth a bit more, but your out-cost would be more. This isn't a project you take on for resale purposes!
