As far as I know, a vendor is someone who is selling "multiple" and/or "manifactured" goods. Meaning more than simply selling-off parts that are either used or "extra" from their own projects. It does not have to be someone that makes their living from it, or has a "store".
That being said, this is just my interpretation.
Also, I did not say that the OP was violating anything (I specifically said he was
not) but that it becomes difficult to follow the rules when other members "suggest/request" something that is against them.
