Hey thanks for the advice and complements! Funny you should say that because just earlier today I ran into a guy at our local feed store and he said exactly the same thing after talking to him about my truck! I might just do that. I was told also that I can block off the rear vent valve (or something like that) to make my 283 run like a 305.

I am still amazed at how many people scoff at my putting a 283 in. Everyone keeps telling me to put in a 350. (ick) Everyone does that. I like to be different. I'll keep everyone posted. By the way, it looks like you guys have a pretty awesome setup going on at your place. Love the garage!

I'll check to see what gears I'm running because as of now I'm not quite sure...
