Kevin, you bring up a good point, the plastic ones won't pit and they are cheap enough that if they start to look like crap, then no big lose--I'll get some more or then I will hunt for oem. I found some on Ebay for $50 with the Bowtie instead of "special edition"--which is what Wheel vintiques carried, but said they don't anymore.
About trim rings:
I think I am going to do 8" fronts and 10" rears. So I was wondering if there is a trim ring that will look the same but go deeper into the wheel for the rears. So have two different trim rings. Fronts(correct me if I am wrong) are 3" wide. So in the back maybe 4" wide. Has anyone done this succesfully?
