the tranny is unbeatable for towing. I have pulled an 8000 lb load behind mine with no problem. Rock solid. Heard its easy to rebuild.
problems: not a racing tranny; no shift kits available; no mods available (only rebuild kits)
all in all, i have no problems at all with it
